SeeDive is a visual geographic exploration tool that extracts a random sample of Google street view images from any location. Just enter the place (e.g. “Claremont CA” or “Constitution Hall” or “35801”) and radius (in miles) defining the circle from which to pull the images. Note that it can take up to 100 seconds to get your images.
You will receive a maximum of 15 images (often fewer for remote areas). If you simply click the “submit” button again, it will give you a new random sample.
If you like visual geographic exploration in general, you might also like this network of live cameras. Other live camera sources are here and here.
